“Missing Mandable”
I saw Summer Wheat’s work at the Volta fair. It was cheerio and macaroni abstraction. I dug it, man I dug it in my veins, man I couldn’t stop digging it- her name really is actually Summer Wheat… she’s from Oklahoma, she’s perfected the plop and slop.
The other night at poker an artist friend of mine was telling me how barnyard abstraction was bullshit at this point, which is true of everything, we figured out, six beers deep our opinions slurring into sentence like coagulants and falling out of mouths in fat piles.
